Danish company Logickeyboard wanted to make its new MacBook Touch Bar Keyboard Cover better than all of its previous skins. According to company rep Casper Svanemose, this was accomplished by sending a new MacBook to a 3D rendering company, who measured every detail. Then, Logickeyboard processed the sketch and sent it to its factory. The resulting product reduces the thinness of the skin by ten percent from previous models. The covers are only 0.3 mm thin and have a silky smooth feel.
Svanemose said, "This makes the skin so much better to type on. It is actually like a sound muffler. The new MacBook keys are very loud when you type on it, due to the fact that the keys are so low. When using the new skin the sound is lowered significantly."
