Man, there are so many great movie characters. From admirable heroes like Rocky and Aragorn to dastardly villains like Darth Vader and The Joker, it's so easy to get swept away by all of the fantastically complicated and beautifully multi-dimensional individuals created in the minds of history's greatest storytellers.

If you want to test your knowledge of history's greatest characters (or just want to sit back and appreciate those that have graced the silver screen), check out "Best Characters AtoZ," an entertaining little supercut that is not only a lot of fun to watch, but is also a pretty good refresher of some of cinema's most memorable heroes and villains.

Okay, I have no idea whether or not the intention of this video was to test whether or not you could name all the characters, but that's exactly what I spent my time doing as I watched it. So, how did you do? Were you able to name every one? Are you obsessing over the ones you couldn't? I definitely had some trouble with a few...especially "P." My first thought was Renfield, but, duh, Renfield starts with an R. Then I thought Piper from Orange is the New Black, but first of all, her prison garb is solid orange, not striped, and second, she doesn't eat roaches, just recruits them as cigarette mules.

But then, after digging through the deepest reaches of my brain that contain random dates, names, and anecdotes of film history, I figured it out...and now I'm proud of myself. (Here's a hint: Steve McQueen.)

Of course, I'm definitely thinking of all of the characters I would've rather seen in this supercut, especially if the whole point was to guess who they were.
