Adorama's New Mission Will Make it Easier Than Ever to Get the Gear You Need
We spoke with Adorama at NAB about its big plans for helping you learn about and buy gear.
Adorama has long been known as a reliable, full-service destination for photo, video and electronics needs. Now, the company has a new mission. Of course, Adorama will still sell gear, but Chief Marketing Officer Lev Peker tells us, "We’re looking to empower creatives, and when we say creatives, we’re really casting a very broad net." So whether you're a professional filmmaker, or just looking to up your street photography game, Peker says, "We're really looking to help them get better at what they do and provide the right gear for their needs.”
To this end, some initiatives that are already in place include the company's slate of educational programming at Adorama TV, a VIP 360 program that offers perks like free two-day delivery, and a zero percent interest financing program. Peker also mentions Adorama LIVE, the company's program of NAB speakers including DPs Claudia Raschke, Phil Holland, and Philip Bloom and other industry pros like Milton Ladd from the Saturday Night Live VFX team, which you can now watch online.
Adorama LIVE will be rolling out new content over the next several months, and the Adorama website will also be introducing new features designed to make shopping on the site and finding exactly the tools you need much easier, so stay tuned.
