gotta say, pretty great podcast!

Also I would be getting a local film house to do the film transfers and I will also be combining some of my own personal footage which was shot on a combination of mini DV, standard DV, VHS-C and later pure digital. I think I will be hitting up my old University to see if they have the decks in deep storage I could use to digitize, it would definitely end up being a complicated process.

But for me the fun is in transcribing (sometimes literally, sometimes just describing whats in the shots/tapes) and building a narrative of sorts, the locking myself in a room for a month with a bunch of disconnected footage and building something cohesive.

Im actually just wrapping up a short using footage from a crazy houseparty in 2005 - Its the last footage I have before I became a paraplegic, and lets just say its not flattering, and I love it
