A new camera is on the scene in the form of a Kickstarter campaign that is promising to bridge the gap between your bulky action cams and the lower end of basic digital cameras.

Set to feature a wide range of features including 4K SONY clarity, 6-axis stabilization, 5 recording modes, app control, fast sharing, noise-reduction audio, magnetic mounting, and other ways in which this AulGo can be a tiny cam that actually has pro controls.

Here’s what you need to know.

The AulGo All-in-One 4K Camera

So, the promise of this new AuGo, from its Kickstarter campaign, is to fill the gap between bulky action cams, weak basic cameras, and tiny cams with no remote controls.

The AulGo aims to provide stable 4K video, instant sharing, and a pocket-sized form factor, all crammed into one ready-to-go device. What’s unique about the AulGo is that it is powered by a Sony IMX486 sensor capable of up to 12MP image capture. The camera can record 4K footage with clearer details too, for daytime scenes, night views, travel clips, and close-up moments.

The camera is also set to feature a magnetic base that can let shooters attach the AulGo to metal surfaces like a fridge door, basketball rim, metal pole, or car door. The camera will also have a ¼-inch screen mount, making it compatible with your usual range of tripods, gimbals, brackets, and mounting accessories.

Price and Availability

Overall, it’s always nice to see a new camera in a competitive market that appears ready to deliver a unique blend of features and capabilities filmmakers can actually use. The AulGo campaign is set to go live on Kickstarter next week, with starting tiers at $179 and up, with estimated shipments beginning in the fall of 2026.
