If you find yourself needing to match the color profile of two different camera sources, a plugin like FilmConvert could do the trick. Released back in 2012, the company behind the product has released several different options for color correcting images as well as different film stocks and grains. More recently, they rolled out the Nitrate plugin, which is essentially an improved version of FilmConvert with more controls.

Now available for download is a new camera pack for the Fujifilm X-T4 which is compatible with FilmConvert, FilmConvert Pro, and Nitrate. The camera pack supports Fujifilm's F-Log and other picture profiles on the camera to make it easier to dial in the exact colors you want. Besides the X-T4, there are Fujifilm packs for the X-T3 and X-T2, along with a slew of cameras from other manufacturers including ARRI, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, RED, and Sony.

The FilmConvert plugin is compatible macOS or PC with software that includes AVID, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. So no matter the preferred non-linear editor, the plugin is sure to follow. Like the other camera packs, the Fujifilm X-T4 flavor is available to download for free. If you don't already own a version of FilmConvert, the plugin starts around $139. There's an upgrade path for existing FilmConvert users to Nitrate
