The 2021 Golden Globe Nominations are Here!
Mank and Trial of the Chicago 7 are notable favorites at this year's Golden Globes.
If you got up early this morning, you're ahead of the game. For the rest of us, the Golden Globe nominations are here to peruse. Netflix's Mank and Trial of the Chicago 7 both lead the nominations, with six for Mank and five for Trial.
Notable snubs are Da 5 Bloods, I May Destroy You, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Bridgerton, and Judas and the Black Messiah.
This year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return as hosts. The Golden Globes will take place on Sunday, Feb. 28 on NBC. Right now the plan is to do it virtually, but nothing is set in stone.
Among the special bits of the ceremony, Norman Lear will receive the Carol Burnett Award for his lifetime of achievement. Actress and activist Jane Fonda will be presented the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her outstanding contributions to the industry.
