Jeff Bridges' Return to 'The Big Lebowski' is Here
The Dude is back...sort of.
Last week a mysterious tweet from Jeff Bridges set Film Twitter a blaze with speculation that The Dude may be making a comeback.
Were we getting a Big Lebowski sequel? More information was set to be revealed on February 3, which some of you may recognize as the date of Super Bowl LIII, but today we got our answer. It's a Stella Artois ad.
We're all disappointed about it, but it's not like we didn't see this coming. Sarah Jessica Parker also plays a prominent role in the ad, making a return as Sex and the City's iconic Carrie Bradshaw. The joke here is that each of the characters go to a bar and choose to order a Stella instead of their iconic drink of choice, the Cosmopolitan and White Russian respectively. Kind of smart. But damn.
