All young Peter Parker wants to do is go on a European vacation with some friends and check out the beautiful scenery and everything these new sights have to offer. And then Nick Fury shows up and demands Parker get back to work as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Can't a teenager catch a break?

Spider-Man: Far From Home is the second sole installment in the rebooted Spider-Man property and the fourth starring Tom Holland in the title role. About that: you may remember at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Holland's Spider-Man reached an untimely fate. Will that be rectified in Avengers: Endgame  (conveniently due out three months before Far From Home is set to hit theaters?) We can only assume so, or else a Spidey resurrection is in order.

Once again directed by Jon Watts, this new film appears to keep the comedy intact and the thrills a'coming. It also feels appropriately comfortable toggling between one-liners and big-budget special effects that are doom-inducing in nature. And hey look! There's Jake Gyllenhaal shooting laser beams out of his fists!

Check out the trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home below. The film will be released in theaters on July 5th, 2019.
