Thor Gets His Own 'Avengers: Doomsday' Trailer

In case you had no idea, the Avengers were all coming back for Doomsday. Marvel has been releasing character trailers to get audiences excited.

The most recent one drops us into Thor's world and unpacks what's at stake for him to return to the fight.

The Second Avengers: Doomsday Trailer

The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday features Thor and a young child, who is revealed to be his daughter. It begins with a shot of a forest at sunrise, as Thor is seen walking through the forest. He then visits a child who is sleeping in a bed.

Meanwhile, we get a voiceover from Thor, which is revealed to be a prayer from him to the gods to protect him in battle so he can return home to a quiet life as a father.

We're actually not totally sure who the mother is here, but we can infer it's probably Jane from the earlier Thor movies.

But you never know with all the twists and turns in this universe.

This marks the second Avengers: Doomsday trailer that features a father with a child. The first had Captain America enjoying his quiet life and getting called back as well. You have to wonder if the ones that follow will also show families or catch us up on whatever the Avengers are all doing right now.

For Disney's part, they're going through popular characters to make sure there's awareness for this movie. I am sure the goal is to try to make over two billion at the box office again, especially with all of them returning.

The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026, and is one of our most anticipated movies of 2026.
