Lowel Lighting Improves LEDs
Lowel adds some 'Ego' to its products and updates popular Blender LED.
The Tiffen-branded lighting company Lowel has added some punch to its Blender fixture, doubling the LEDs from 12 to 24. The bi-color light is small enough to fit on a pistol grip or compact light stand, making it ideal for run-and-gun applications or when space is a commodity. It can be powered by AC, battery, or 12V connections and the included set of diffusers will help soften its output.
Also announced was the Pro Power LED fresnel, a bi-color lighting solution with focusable, dimmable output comparable to a 200W Tungsten halogen fixture. The fixture is flicker-free up to 2350+ fps and can be powered through AC or Lowel's Long Life accessory DCBattery for stand or run-and-gun use.
If you're familiar with the Ego, Lowel has added a bi-color LED version with photometrics based on the Rifa 44 fixture.
