Now that you've read the screenplays for some of the biggest superhero movies of the year, we have more dramatic screenplays to add to the increasingly large pile of scripts for your consideration. Let's check out the trailers before we get to the screenplay links.

Richard Linklater returns with Last Flag Flying, an unofficial sequel to Hal Ashby's The Last Detail. Linklater adapted the novel along with the author, Daniel Ponicsan, to bring to the screen the story of three Vietnam veterans reuniting to bury one of their sons who was killed while fighting the war in Iraq in 2003.

With The Beguiled, writer/director Sofia Coppola has created a thriller set at a Southern girls' boarding school during the Civil War when the women take in a wounded enemy soldier, leading to temptation and unforeseen events.

Author Brian Selznick adapted his inventive, illustrated novel Wonderstruck for director Todd Haynes, bouncing back and forth between two stories in time, one in black and white (and a silent film) about Rose, a deaf girl on an adventure to find an actress in New York City, and the other about Ben, a young boy who loses his hearing and longs for his father when he heads out on a quest eerily similar to Rose's journey, but decades later.

Thanks to Amazon Studios and Focus Features, here are the links to the screenplays:

As always, please use these scripts for your educational purposes only. Also, don't wait to download them because we never know when the studios will take the screenplays off the internet.
