P+S Technik Adds a 135mm Focal Length to Its Anamorphic Evolution Line
Meet the Evolution 135mm 2X anamorphic lens.
The Evolution 2X anamorphic lenses are based on the original optical designs of the vintage Kowa Anamorphics and match them in look and bokeh. Designed with anamorphic principles, they are low in contrast and warm in color and can produce flare. Both compact and lightweight, their housing features a modern cam driven internal focus mechanics. The focus throw is nearly identical to the Kowa's, offering a 200° angle on the focus ring and a 100° on the aperture ring. The mod 0.8 gears are in the same position of the great rings through the entire series for a familiar workflow.
The set is comprised of 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 135mm focal lengths, an 80mm front diameter for matte boxes and a 77mm thread for filters. The standard mount is PL-mount, but you can get them in EF-mount, E-mount and MFT mount.
