Vlog Up! Sony Unveils Its First Interchangeable-Lens Alpha Series “Vlog Camera”
Vloggers, fire up your LED ring lights, because Sony has got your back with its new ZV-E10 camera.
To many, the name of the digital video camera game is pixel count. What manufacturer can cram the biggest sensor in the smallest frame at the best price? To others, the name of the game also appears to be… market research?
Today Sony has announced its first ever interchangeable-lens alpha series “vlog camera” with its new Sony ZV-E10. Market research, baby!
If there’s any industry which is blowing up post-pandemic, it’s the online world of vlogging. And, while there are many great vlog-specific cameras on the market, Sony looks to be adding a new addition from its signature Alpha series with this new vlog cam.
Let’s take a look at the new Sony ZV-E10 to see if it might be right for your vlogs or other video content projects.
The Sony ZV-E10
All right, let’s start with the big news first. The new ZV-E10 is going to feature a 24.2MP CMOS sensor with Sony’s familiar BIONZ X image processing image, which will be able to record up to 4K UHD at 30 fps and Full HD up to 120p.
The ZV-E10 will also include many “vlogging-specific features” which were popular with the ZV-1 including background defocus and a product showcase setting mode.
The new camera will also include a 3” side flip-out touchscreen LCD for handheld monitoring if you’re on the run.
Basically put, if you’re into that #VlogLife, you’re going to get pretty much everything you need from the ZV-E10—plus some great looking, sharp Sony video.
