Fans desperate for the next Marvel movie were rewarded today with the brand-new trailer for Eternals.
The film takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The Eternals are an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years. They must come out of hiding and reunite to protect humanity from the Deviants.
"Throughout the years we have never interfered, until now," says Salma Hayak's character in the trailer.
The film was written and directed by Chloé Zhao.
It stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Gil Birmingham, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
Fans were quick to point out that the last time Jon Snow (Harington) and Robb Stark (Madden) got together, a lot of people died. Is that an early clue to humanity's fate in this movie?
