The first foray into lighting for SmallRig, the RC 120D, and 220D are direct competitors to Aputure's amaran moonlight series.

The SmallRig RC 120D features a daylight-balanced 5600K color temperature with an output of 5370 lux at 3.3'. The SmallRig RC 220D punches a little harder with an output of 10,100 lux at 3.3' at 5600K. The latter also comes with a hyper reflector that increases the fixture's output to 98,700 lux.

Both lights can utilize AC/DC power or a 14.4V/26V battery via an optional D-Tap to 3-pin XLR power cord. Each light has an integrated cooling fan that turns on automatically to prevent overheating, and at 30 db, the fan is quieter than a refrigerator or most whispers. Nine effects modes are included for creative lighting or a variety of dramatic effects.

Using the industry standard Bowens mount, creatives can use a myriad of softboxes and other light diffusing/shaping tools. An integrated display screen allows you to see the light's settings at a glance or make adjustments, which can also be made via the SmallGoGo app. The app also provides wireless control over your fixture from up to 330' away.

The Zhiyun MOLUS series isn't the first light from the company, but it is one of the most unique-looking ones. The G60 and X100 fit look like toys at a glance, but they're powerful tools that punch well above their weight.

At 3.57 x 2.6 x 2.6", the MOLUS G60 Pocket COB Monolight from Zhiyun boasts a host of professional features in a very small package. It has a wide variable color range of 2700 to 6500K with high CRI/TLCI 96/97 ratings and dims from 0 to 100 percent. Color and brightness can be adjusted on the fixture, but you can also make changes wirelessly using Zhiyun's app.

The MOLUS X100 Pocket COB Monolight embraces a completely new form factor for powerful handheld lighting. With the same wide variable color range of 2700 to 6500K and high CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/97, the X100 is all about output. Specifically, 3881 lux at 1 m and 17,317 Lux at 1m when using the hyper reflector. Color and brightness can also be adjusted on the fixture or wirelessly via Zhiyun's app. A bonus feature for the X100 is the light's Music Mode which is a recording function that enables automatic lighting control along with music rhythm to create a special atmosphere.
