Five Web Videos to Watch on Halloween
If my own experience is any indication, most people celebrated Halloween last night, on Saturday -- which leaves the actual date of October 31st in no-man's land. If you're not inclined to dress up two nights in a row -- or at all -- here are five videos to watch in the comfort of your zombie-free home. Note many of these have NSFW violence and/or language:
Via Mashable, here's a creepy (and kind of gross) short from director Robert Morgan entitled The Cat With Hands, about the idiom, "cat got your tongue?"
The Cat With Hands
Via Short of the Week comes I Love Sarah Jane, an Australian short that played Sundance (and a number of other festivals) in '08:

Here's the first five minutes of AMC's new Zombie show, The Walking Dead, which premieres tonight:
Walking Dead: First Five Minutes
Via NewTeeVee we have the Halloween episode of the big-budget web series The LXD, a Thriller-inspired dance show from director John M. Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets, Step Up 3-D), which is... unlike anything I've ever seen before:
The LXD: Rising
Finally, via Coffee and Celluloid, the choose-your-own adventure Zombie webseries Deliver Me to Hell -- which is actually just a very elaborate ad campaign for a New Zealand pizza parlor -- is a clever and diverting example of putting YouTube to use as an interactive platform. Make sure you have YouTube's "annotations" feature on, as it will allow you to choose which path to take in the story:
