Following up on news last week with the first leaked information about Canon’s new EOS RP - a lower level prosumer model of their mirrorless EOS R line - we have more high-definition images to share as well as a more complete list of specs.

The big news so far is the leaked info regarding the 35mm full size CMOS sensor (26.2 million effective pixels) which is set to shoot 4K at 24p.

While this might not be the groundbreaking news some Canon fans were hoping for on the heels of an Canon exec interview promising 8K for the EOS R somewhere in the future, it should do just enough to keep the EOS RP in the conversation against the tight 4K mirrorless competition - as long as the rumored $1,499 or $1,599 price point holds.
