DaVinci Resolve 20.0.1 Update Improves Its AI Music Editor and Other Features

As mentioned above, this isn’t a huge new update, but it does offer some helpful improvements and fixes. The biggest news here is going to be the improved drag-and-drop behavior of media pool clips, something every video editor will appreciate to keep workflows smooth, clean, and fast.

Blackmagic Design has also shared that its AI Music Editor is going to get better beat marker detection when resizing music track lengths, which should also be a helpful improvement for those looking to utilize this AI-powered feature within the app.

There are also some other helpful improvements for OpenColorIO consistency in the Fusion viewer, and your general mix of minor bug fixes and improvements as well. Here’s everything new in DaVinci Resolve 20.0.1:
