The NAB Show will return as an in-person event. The ginormous industry tradeshow, which normally takes place in April, is being held Saturday, Oct. 9, to Wednesday, Oct. 13, with exhibitors showcasing their latest products from Oct. 10-13. And those who already have a free NAB Amplify account can access a free exhibitor pass to the show.

The NAB Show is an event No Film School has covered for the last decade, and with the pandemic shutting everything down, show organizers, much like many other tentpole events, switched to a virtual setting. While NAB Show Express turned out to be successful, there's nothing else like the buzz of the show floor. How much excitement will 2021 bring?

Key companies have already signed up to exhibit including Aputure, Canon, Blackmagic Design, Lectrosonics, and Sony, among others. According to show organizers, over 600 companies have reserved space from 31 different countries. The event has also implemented new health and safety protocols that include temperature checks upon entry, a no-contact policy, touchless registration, and a show floor that will allow for social distancing and one-way entries/exits.

To get your free pass now, you'll want to head over to NAB Amplify and sign up for a free account. Once signed up, click on the "Claim Your Free NAB Exhibits Pass" flyer on the homepage. For those not in the know, NAB Amplify is a new hub of NAB news where you can access on-demand videos, read about new products, and more. It's everything NAB.

However, if you'd rather not sign up for another thing you'll have to remember your password for, NAB will be releasing free exhibitor passes directly from the NAB Show website in the coming months. But if you do plan on attending, might as well start considering your hotel accommodations
