Meyer-Optiks' Nocturnus 75 f/.95 Is the 'World's Fastest' 75mm Lens
According to the German lens manufacturer, the Nocturnus 75 is the "fastest 75mm lens in the world."
Meyer-Optiks Görlitz has added a 75mm lens to its f/0.95 range. The Nocturnus 75 is a 75mm full-frame lens with a crazy fast f/0.95 aperture, making it "the fastest 75mm lens in the world" according to the German manufacturer.
Like the other lenses in the Nocturnus line, including the popular Nocturnus 50, this handmade 75mm lens will be available for Leica M, Sony E, and Fuji X mounts and feature 15 aperture blades and a clickless aperture ring. Because it has an aperture of f/0.95, the images it will produce will have incredible sharpness, bokeh (even in low-light conditions), and a "three-dimensional appearance."
It will be equipped with an 82mm filter and weigh about 750g. Lenses will come in both black and silver finishes.
