Panasonic Rolls Out Minor Firmware 1.5 Update for Lumix S1 and S1R Cameras
A minor updates adds memory card support and frame rates
Panasonic has released an update for its popular DC-S1 and DC-S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras.
Firmware version 1.5 adds support for ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type B cards up to 325GB. The firmware also adds a new 50p/25p video frame rate options for regions using NTSC. To prevent any mishaps, Panasonic has also disabled the Delete All touch control option in playback mode. Now only the cursor buttons can be used to Delete All media.
It's important to note this update only applies to the S1 and S1R cameras. The video focused DC-S1H still currently runs version 1.2
