RigWheels Introduces the Magnet Powered Cloud Mount for Vehicle Rigging on a Budget
RigWheels wants you to stop babysitting those suction-cups.
Building on their RigMount XL mounting platform, RigWheels showed off their new Cloud Mount. They've added a vibration isolator to allow your handheld gimbal to work more effectively and with less strain on its motors and bearings. The Cloud Mount was built to reduce the amount of time and complexity involved with mounting a vibration isolator system to a vehicle. The innovation, however, comes in how they've replaced suction cups with magnets so you don't have constantly worry about whether or not your precious gear will fly from the hood of your vehicle or not.
They also introduced quite a handy dolly monorail system with extending/interconnectable tubes.
