Blueshape Innovates Battery Space by Adding Wi-Fi Connectivity & New Power Stations
Battery company Blueshape has made a splash recently in the cinema battery world with their unique products.
Their battery line has been updated with Wi-Fi, allowing users to check a complicated sheet of diagnostics of the remaining charge and health of each of the cells. In addition, users will be able to lock the batteries in case of theft or for limiting rentals. They also updated their Power Station line with the beefier PWS4 and PWS2, which allow users to combine V-Lock batteries in order to attain a higher output voltage for use with larger cinema cameras and lights. A version of the PWS4 encased in an HPRC case for waterproofing reportedly ran an ARRI Skypanel for over two hours. They also showed off cases compliant with new federal regulations on lithium transportation on cargo-only flights.
