Kupo Grip Click Stands Make Your Light Kit More Portable

Kupo, the grip and support division of The Mac Group, showed off a new feature on their light stands to improve portability.

The lightweight stands come with clips on two sides that allow multiple stands to be attached together, facilitating easier carrying.  This could be useful if transporting multiple stands without a case.  The 7' version ($70) weighs 2.42 lbs and supports 8.8 lbs of load while the 8' version ($77) weighs 2.86 lbs and supports 11 lbs of load.  Both are air-cushioned, a necessity for preventing damage from loosening the joints too quickly.  Could you see this being something practical for you?

Kupo also showed some C-stand accessories, such as a GoPro mount and a tripod head adapter for a turtle base.

Critical question not asked: What's the biggest/heaviest light these things can support?

Isn't that just about the first question you'd ask?

Maybe NFS thought they would balance the written content with the video to avoid redundancy. I've saved you the trouble of tiring your eyes.

Maybe, like every scavenged piece of news on here, NFS's "writers" didn't feel up to the job of writing. On every legit news site I go to there is the video version for the **tards that can't read, and there's the written version for those that can read much faster than it would take to watch the amateur video content.

I don't know about anyone else, but this looks a lot like the Manfrotto Stacker / Quick Stand System

We have been using the Manfrotto version of these stands for a little over two years... They lay perfectly in a Pelican 1720 case. Overall great stands and the flat lay system is super clean and portable.
