SYRP Unveils the Time Lapse System You've Been Waiting For

SYRP introduces the Genie 2, a time lapse system for filmmakers.

The Auckland, New Zealand-based company SYRP has updated its popular Genie time lapse tool with its second generation. The Genie 2 is smoother, quieter, faster, and stronger than the original Genie and can be attached to any slider or track. The intuitive solution for motion control time lapse and real time video is simple and portable.

The Genie 2 is split in two parts: the upper pan/tilt system and the lower part for standard motion control. The entire system can be run over WiFi.

Also from SYRP is Slingshot, a Genie compatible motion control kit for those looking to create extended time lapse shots over long distances up to 300ft (100m) in length. Two ropes provide stability on the Slingshot for constant control during filming.

It's been on their site for a bit now. I'm surprised no one covered it sooner.
