If you haven’t been following the news, here’s a quick recap. The Chinese-based company DJI is famous for its world-class drones, which are great for aerial videography and photography. They’ve been popular in the US for years. However, new laws and regulations have effectively banned the company from releasing new products in the United States.

The DJI drone ban is now in effect, but DJI had already made the decision not to release its newest flagship drones, like the Mavic 4 Pro, in the US last year. So, unless you got one on dark markets (or from a friend overseas), you won’t find many Mavic 4 Pros flying in the US—they’re still very popular everywhere else.

As if to taunt us in the US, or at least to keep marketing its flagship product, DJI has released a new video highlighting what it would feel like to have been using the Mavic 4 Pro for fun travel videos all year. Check it out below.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro 2025 Highlights

Released as a 2025 recap video, DJI has shared a film dedicated to its drone lovers and creators. Created by countless hours of travel, waiting, and flying, the film showcases what it might have felt like to take the Mavic 4 Pro with you as you traveled to capture the first light touching the Dolomites in Italy, to the Northern Lights dancing over Icelandic skies, and the moments of quiet romance shared in Türkiye.

The video utilized the best features the Mavic 4 Pro has to offer with its 100MP Hasselblad main camera, large CMOS dual tele cameras, O4+ Video Transmission, and precision flight performance.

The company also further empowers its fans and users to document their own unique view of the world—human stories, natural wonders, or moments in between—and has invited them to share it on the SkyPixel Contest and be part of a global community of visual storytellers.
