New FCC Filling Sheds Light on a Possible DJI Osmo Nano Camera’s Development
More rumors and speculation surrounding a possible DJI Osmo Nano camera are here to discuss.

Another day, another new camera rumor to speculate on. And when it comes to DJI cameras and product rumors, these are always going to be juicy. This is because DJI, more than any company in the film and video space in 2025, is right in the crosshairs of so many topics and debates.
While the Chinese-based company is still facing possible drone bans, tariffs, and refusals to sell some of its newest and potentially most popular products in the United States due to these issues, the fact that the company might be on the verge of unveiling a new action camera competitor to GoPro and Insta360 is even more tantalizing.
Let’s look at the latest rumors surrounding a possible DJI Osmo Nano announcement and explore how some new FCC filings might indicate what’s next for this prospective new DJI action camera product.
DJI Osmo Nano Rumors
Following up on some leaked images of a possible new 360-degree DJI camera, it appears that DJI has filled some official listings with the FCC for the Osmo Nano with model numbers ON001 and OD001 (possibly as the camera unit for the former and the display unit for the later) to eventually sell in the United States.
These filings, unearthed by Drone DJI, seem to indicate that this new Osmo Nano could feature some improved heat management, and advanced AI stabilization for this pocket-sized camera device could make this one of DJI’s most technically remarkable products to date.
Similar to its action camera competitors from GoPro and Insta360, a DJI Osmo Nano could be an ideal option for the same type of adventure and action content creators, as well as an option to attach to FPV drones or other gimbal devices for rough-and-tumble action.
What to Expect Next
It sounds like, if true, DJI should be able to reveal both an Osmo Nano as well as possibly an Osmo 360 here soon. What is less obvious is just when and where these products might be announced and available. As we’ve seen recently, DJI is going to have to make some big decisions about what battles it wants to fight in the United States to be able to operate in this market.
We’ll keep you up-to-date on these potential new DJI products as well as keep you informed on the ever-changing tariffs and trade wars rocking the industry as best we can over the coming weeks and months.
