When the Sony FX6 was officially released, it had nearly everything a 4K shooter would want in a camera. Sony's latest sensor, beastly low light performance, fast AF, built-in ND filters, multiple XLR inputs, dual card slots, and a modular design. The camera is a real winner for those in the documentary, ENG, and wedding videographer space.

Wooden Camera has announced a new line of accessories for the FX6 which includes an E-mount to PL Mount Pro adapter, V-mount/Gold Mount power accessories, a Top Plate, and a Unified Baseplate.

Out of the group, we're most excited about the PL adapter, which allows the FX6 to be used with higher-end cinema glass. The adapter is fully shimmable, which helps adjust the flange depth of the lens with the camera, and includes a support ring that integrates with the new Wooden Camera Top Plate for FX6.

According to Wooden Camera, the Top Plate contours to the shape of the camera body and wraps around the original top handle. It features rows of 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points, and multiple ARRI accessory mounts.

The Unified Baseplate features 15mm rod supports that can be attached to standard tripod plates or ARRI standard bridgeplates. The system features a double quick-release that allows operators to either remove the entire camera or the rod setup or detach the camera completely. Cool.

The Battery Slide Pro comes in either V-mount or Gold mount options, which can be attached to the back without any rods. The plates can be adjusted as you see fit using the thumbscrew slide mount. There's also 3x D-tap ports with a digital fuse that cuts off accessory power when usage goes over the amp rating. The Battery Slide Pro also allows you to access the battery compartment on the FX6, allowing you to change out the batteries, which is a nice touch.

Wooden Camera is offering bundled kits in Basic, Advanced, and Pro Versions that include additional options. All accessories are available for pre-order now and should arrive in February.
