Get ready for a stunningly awkward trip down the aisle, because A24 just dropped the teaser trailer for their forthcoming feature, The Drama, and it looks like wedding bells are ringing... with a heavy dose of anxiety and insanity.

And to celebrate, A24 actually put a fake engagement announcement in the newspaper.

It's such a smart way to virally market a movie and to get people outside the box engaged with your storytelling.

But outside of the fake marriage announcement, they have a trailer that dropped, which is getting a lot of buzz, too.

The highly anticipated film stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as a blissfully engaged couple whose seemingly perfect nuptials are thrown into chaotic jeopardy by an earth-shattering, stunning revelation.

The Drama Trailer 

The Drama centers on Emma Harwood (Zendaya), an employee at a publishing house, and her partner, Charlie Thompson (Pattinson), a British museum director.

The new teaser gives us our first look at the couple meeting with a professional photographer for their official wedding pictures. But instead of radiating genuine pre-wedding joy, the duo appears to be battling something very internal and external.

The feature is helmed by writer-director Kristoffer Borgli, following the success of his dark comedy, Dream Scenario.

Borgli, who directed The Drama from his own script, is joining forces with heavyweight producers Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Tyler Campellone.

Rounding out the cast of The Drama are Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates.

This has to be on everyone's radar next year, and looks ot be one of A24's big swings for awards.
