Adobe and NVIDIA Announce Strategic Partnership to “Accelerate AI-Powered Creation”
Adobe and NVIDIA have announced a new strategic partnership that aims to accelerate AI-powered creation, including the delivery of the next generation of Firefly models and workflows.

Less than a day after Adobe announced a settlement with the Department of Justice over alleged violations of its subscription practices, the company issued a new strategic announcement with NVIDIA, promising to accelerate its AI-powered creations.
This new partnership is pretty big news, too, as NVIDIA has become one of the most important players in the budding AI revolution, giving both companies a leg up in the notable AI video model arms race, which is currently heating up.
Let’s take a look at this strategic partnership and explore what it can mean for Adobe in particular, with a focus on how it aims to help deliver the next generation of foundational Adobe Firefly models and agentic workflows.
Adobe Partners With NVIDIA
If you haven’t followed the news (or the stock market) over the past few years, you might think NVIDIA is still a small tech company focused on making GPUs for video gaming. However, as the AI revolution has taken over markets and the world, NVIDIA has become perhaps the single biggest player in the space thanks to its chip manufacturing technologies and capabilities.
“AI is giving every industry the ability to redefine what’s possible. For more than 20 years, NVIDIA and Adobe have partnered to push the boundaries of design and creativity. Today, we are taking that partnership to a new level — uniting our research and engineering teams to accelerate Adobe’s beloved applications with NVIDIA CUDA and jointly build state-of-the-art world foundation models that reimagine creativity and transform customer experiences.” — Jensen Huang, founder and CEO, NVIDIA.
The goal of this partnership, according to Adobe, is to bring together Adobe's creative and marketing workflows, models, and technology and NVIDIA's open models, libraries, research, and accelerated computing, as demand for content continues to surge and generative AI reshapes creative and marketing workflows.
The Next Generation of AI
Both companies are looking towards the next generation of AI models and capabilities as they aim to advance the creative industry by developing next-generation Firefly models that they hope to deliver best-in-class creative precision and control for creativity and marketing pipelines.
“Content creation is exploding, and our partnership with NVIDIA is grounded in a shared vision to reinvent creative and marketing workflows with the power of AI. As AI transforms how marketing teams and media and entertainment studios work, Adobe and NVIDIA will bring together our Firefly models, CUDA libraries into our applications, 3D digital twins for marketing, and Agent Toolkit and Nemotron to our agentic frameworks to deliver high-quality, controllable, and enterprise-grade AI workflows of the future.” — Shantanu Narayen, chair and CEO, Adobe.
As part of this partnership, Adobe is launching a cloud-native, brand-identity-preserving 3D digital twin solution (public beta) that enables the creation of virtual replicas of physical products, serving as permanent digital identities for marketing and commerce experiences.
Adobe Firefly Foundry (which houses the company’s AI models) will also integrate NVIDIA’s advanced computing and AI technologies to power new, enterprise-grade custom AI that aims to deliver commercially safe content at scale, according to the press release.
We’ll keep you updated as to what this new partnership brings as more news is announced by the brands.
