Developed to be an option that will work as a wired companion to the Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO, Atomos’s new Ninja RAW 5.2" HDMI Monitor/Recorder has been designed to be a compact, easy, and actually kind of affordable on-camera monitor and recorder ideal for use on professional sets and for content creators.
The Atomos Ninja RAW will feature HDMI 2.0 input/output, camera control, a bright 1500 cd/m² touchscreen display, ProRes RAW recording, recording to CFexpress Type B or USB-C, a tally light, NDI/HX3, and camera-to-cloud via an optional USB-C adapter. The monitor-recorder is also set to be ready to handle all codecs, such as ProRes RAW/DNx/H.265, which are all built in.

The big selling point here might simply be the 5.2" IPS touchscreen of the Ninja RAW, which will feature a stunning 1920 x 1080 resolution with a bright 1500 cd/m² display for rich, accurate color precision, even in broad daylight.
The monitor-recorder will be further aided by 8/10-bit color processing, HDR support, Rec. 709 color gamut, and Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration support, which should all help shooters ensure that they’re getting color-accurate, high-quality monitoring with their footage.
