Designed to allow for production teams to wirelessly transmit high-resolution video up to 1080p60 over long distances up to 3000' to a single receiver, this Hollyland Cosmo C2 HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System should allow for flexible video monitoring and distribution for any team’s studio or field production.
Available in kit options that comprise a transmitter and a receiver that communicate over the 5.1 to 5.85 GHz wireless frequency range, this system includes the improvements to the series thanks to HEVO 2.0 technology, UVC/RTMP/NDI|HX streaming support, and expanded power options.
Furthermore, each unit can be powered via DC input using the included power supply when working on set. The transmitter will also feature an L-series battery plate, and the receiver will feature a V-mount battery plate for higher-capacity power sources. Users can utilize the 1/4"-20 threads on the units or the cold shoe adapter to secure them to the mounting configurations of their choice.
3000 Feet Line of Sight
The big news here might simply be that the Cosmo C2 can transmit 1080p60 video up to 3000' line-of-sight with a low 33 ms latency. The system is set to operate on the 5 GHz frequency band, which will be able to automatically detect surrounding frequency interference and seamlessly switch to a clean channel via this HEVO 2.0 technology—which should greatly help with uninterrupted transmission signal.
