All joking aside, this is actually a pretty cool collaboration between brands that should help cross any divides that creators might feel when they shoot high-octane action camera footage, only to feel like something is lost after transferring the footage to their edits.
The ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13) promises to be a GoPro-inspired laptop that will feature a black-metal finish and a matching sleeve built to mirror the on-the-go nature of many action cam videographers. The laptop will include an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 50 TOPS NPU, 128 GB unified memory, and pro-grade graphics that should help it deliver exceptional editing performance.
The goal is to allow creators to experience flawless, real-time editing of complex, multi-layer timelines filled with high-bitrate 4K GoPro footage. Users will be able to apply stabilization, color grading, and effects with instantaneous response.
And the laptop further promises to provide enough performance headroom that it will be able to handle the demands of 8K editing, ensuring your laptop is never the bottleneck for your high-octane projects.
