For those keeping a keen eye turned on NAB 2019 for any large format news or gear, you’re in luck. Kicking off NAB early, Fujifilm/Fujinon has unveiled two new large format cinema lenses designed for Super-35 sensor cameras.  

Spoilers, they aren’t cheap, but if you’re in the market to rent or mortgage your home to purchase, here are the details on the new Fujinon Premista 28-100mm (T2.9) and the Fujinon 80-250mm (T2.9-3.5).


FUJINON 28-100mm T2.9

Spanning focal lengths of six different prime lenses, the 28-100mm zoom can be a go-to option for many run-and-gun filmmaking needs. With a new 13-blade iris designed for pleasant bokeh and a wide dynamic range the zoom is a medium-weight (8.4 lbs), durable large format option.
