This Portable Solar Generator Can Power Your Productions and Survive the Apocalypse
A look at the new Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra, its seismic-level shockproof protection, and 3600W peak output.

Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra
Perhaps being an ideal purchase for a survivalist filmmaker looking to create content in a post-apocalyptic world, this new Explorer 1500 Ultra from Jacker is about as sturdy and reliable as they come.
Set to provide 1536Wh Capacity, 1800W Continuous Output (3600W peak), 20ms UPS for seamless backup, and over a 10-year lifespan, the Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra should be able to handle whatever you throw its way—whether those be survival tasks or powering your on-location productions.
Let’s take a look.
The Jackery Explorer 1500 Ultra
Designed to handle any conditions, anywhere, the Explorer 1500 Ultra is IP65-rated dustproof and waterproof, level 9 seismic shockproof, and one-meter drop-resistant. All specs and features are designed to help ensure durability and reliability in the harshest conditions.
Performance-wise, it's no slouch either, as it boasts a 1536Wh LiFePO battery that makes it capable of delivering up to 3600W peak output for 5 seconds,10 times longer than the industry standard. It can also handle a 2000W peak for up to 15 minutes and provide a consistent 1800W AC output.
As far as charging goes, it can also get full power quite quickly, and it features new ChargeShield 2.0 technology that can provide a full AC charge in just 1.5 hours, high-efficiency solar charging in 2.5 hours (800W Max), or convenient vehicle alternator charging in around 3 hours.
