Whether you're looking to fast charge your drones for flight and footage-heavy projects spanning long days and lots of travel, or if you’re simply looking to power your RV on a family road trip, the new DJI Power 2000 is a portable power station that could be a great option for your major mobile power needs.

Set to offer plenty of expandable power with a capacity of 2048Wh and 3000W of continuous power output, the DJI Power 2000 features 14 different ports to help you power everything you need for your family or crew.

Plus, as a rechargeable portable power station that can be connected to either AC/grid, solar, car power, or an intelligent hybrid of AC or DC, you’ll always be able to feed energy back to the grid yourself. Let’s take a look at the DJI Power 2000 and explore what it could offer for you.

Introducing the DJI Power 2000

An ideal option for powering your remote drone operations and filming, the DJI Power 2000 is ready to handle your major mobile power needs with more ports, power, and capacity. This new Power 2000 model will feature a 2048Wh power capacity and 3000W of continuous power output, with 14 different ports available for your family or crew.

Rechargeable by either AC/grid, solar, car power, or an intelligent hybrid of AC and DC, you can even feed energy back to the grid itself. Operate the power station directly from the built-in display or remotely from your phone with the DJI Home app.

The Power 2000 can accommodate a lot of different devices. Plug your smartphones, tablets, drone charging hubs, appliances, laptops, and more into the fourteen different power outputs. You get four 3-prong AC outlets, four USB-C ports, four USB-A ports, and a pair of SDC ports.

The SDC ports can also be used with optional accessories, including DJI fast chargers, or for expansion, you can attach up to 10 optional 2048Wh batteries to boost the overall capacity to an astounding 22,528Wh.

4 Ways of Recharging

When refueling the Power 2000, you can take your pick of AC, DC, or a combination of both. Four methods of recharging are possible with the included AC power cord or optional DJI charging accessories.

  • AC (Grid): Simply connect the included AC cable to a wall outlet for up to 2200W of power. It recharges the Power 2000 from 0-80% in approximately 45 minutes, or to 100% in 75 minutes.
  • Solar: Using an optional solar panel and DJI Power 1.8 kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger, you can use the sun for up to 1800W of power and recharge to 100% in approximately 75 minutes.
  • Car: Use the optional DJI Power 1 kW Super Fast Charger or 1.8 kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger to take excess power from your vehicle's alternator. This method is for cars and RVs and can get the Power 2000 from 0 to 100% in approximately 145 minutes.
  • Intelligent Hybrid: A combination of AC wall power and DC via solar and/or car power, this method boosts input up to 3000W. During the process, clean solar energy is prioritized, cutting down on waste and electric bills.

Users can also connect a device to a Power 2000-powered-on AC outlet while both the device and Power 2000 are receiving AC power from the grid. This will put the Power 2000 into UPS Mode by default. Once there's a power outage, the Power 2000 will take only 0.01 seconds to begin powering that device for continuous and seamless operation.

Fast Recharge Your Drones

When pairing the DJI Power 2000 with your DJI drone, you can fast-charge batteries for near-continuous flight when in remote locations.

  • Mavic 3: 10 to 95% in approximately 32 minutes
  • Air 3: 10 to 95% in approximately 30 minutes
  • Matrice 4: 10 to 95% in approximately 35 minutes

Also, in select countries, the Power 2000 is able to supply power back to the local electrical grid. When integrating with balcony solar systems, the Power 2000 will recharge itself. Once full, it offloads excess power to the grid at up to 800W of output.
