DJI Osmo 360 Action Camera Update
With the addition of the latest firmware update, the DJI Osmo 360 has quietly gotten a pretty significant performance boost that has added support for 9:16 aspect ratio when recording in Single Lens > Boost Video Mode, which includes 2.7K/4K recording at up to 120 fps.
This is a nice boost that can help simplify the production of vertical video content, which is—as we all know—everyone’s favorite style of video these days.
This update also adds support for livestreaming when using Single Lens mode and adds a new Film Tone feature, which will provide six film tone filter options that you can add to your photos and videos.
Here’s the full list of everything new with the DJI Osmo 360:
- Added support for 9:16 aspect ratio when recording in Single Lens > Boost Video mode, including 2.7K/4K recording at 25/30/50/60/100/120 fps. This simplifies the production of vertical video content.
- Added support for livestreaming when using Single Lens mode. Download the latest version of the DJI Mimo app and connect your camera. Enter the camera view, swipe to LIVESTREAM at the bottom, and complete the setup to start livestreaming. During a livestream, you can switch between the front and rear lenses and record the stream on the camera.
- Added the Film Tone feature, providing six film tone filters. Tap the image/audio parameters icon on the right, tap Film Tone, and then select a filter. (Support for this feature varies by shooting mode; Refer to the actual interface)
- Added the Anti-Flicker mode to the stabilization scenario options. This mode helps reduce image flicker. To enable this mode, tap the image/audio parameters icon on the right, tap Stabilization Scenario, and then scroll to Anti-Flicker.
- Enhanced panoramic photo quality, including image tone and detail.
- Fixed some minor bugs.
