Nikon Adds Remote Shooting System for Corporate Users with Latest Z9 Firmware Update
A new remote shooting system is being added to the Nikon Z9, along with other updates, with a new firmware version 5.20.

The weeks following a rambunctious and announcement-filled NAB Show in Las Vegas are always a good time to roll out some less flashy, but still notable, firmware updates. That seems to be the case with Nikon rolling out several firmware updates to a few of their most popular cameras.
The Nikon Z9 is getting a firmware update version 5.20, which, most notably, is adding support for NX Field, a remote shooting system for corporate users. The camera is also getting some minor tweaks and updates to help it perform better for shooters and content creators of all types.

- Fixed the following issues:
- Pressing the playback button after repeatedly shooting bursts would, in rare cases, corrupt the display of all images.
- In rare circumstances, optimal exposure could not be achieved during burst shooting after changing the exposure in mode M.
- In synchronized release, pressing the shutter-release button of the master camera halfway initiated autofocus on the remote camera with the following setting selected.
- ▸ [CUSTOM SETTINGS MENU] > a6 [AF activation] > [AF-ON only]
