Out of all the categories of gear we saw at NAB this year, there was one clear standout in terms of technological innovation. While cameras and lenses are always considered the sexiest items at trade shows like these, over the past couple years we've seen a real slow down in "game-changing" products in those categories.
The same cannot be said about the lighting gear.
