So, again, we don’t know much here, but a new brand has emerged on the scene, calling itself Leaptic. With only 5 followers on X (Twitter) and two posts, the first of which was posted on May 28, 2025, it certainly appears that this is a new player looking to establish itself with its first product.

We do get an enigmatic post about this new 8K action cam, which is being called its “first 8K tiny action camera.” We also get info about where to check it out at CES, where the company has a booth at the conference, which runs January 6th through the 9th in Las Vegas.

A Mysterious New Action Cam

We’ll all likely know more details here soon as reports from CES begin to emerge, but for now, we’re quite intrigued by a new player entering the market. There are a lot of great action cameras available right now, and plenty more 360-degree cameras and other easy-to-use gimbal cams providing great options for those who work in different areas of video and content creation.

Being dubbed an “8K camera” would lead us to guess that this will mean that it will be able to record 8K video footage, which would help it match some of the top options on the market right now.

A product page has also been found online that calls the action cam the “Dreame Leaptic Cube,” and touts many of its features and main specifications, which you can check out here.

For now, though, we’ll keep dreaming about what this action cam might be and will keep you up to date as to what is officially announced and shared by this mysterious new company.
