While we’ve been covering a potential upcoming DJI Mavic 4 Pro for some time now, it does appear like the camera drone system is absolutely going to be announced soon. We just got a glimpse of the Mavic 4 Pro in some leaked images last week, but now it sounds like leaked (or at least rumored) details about the price, release date, and key features are here as well.
Let’s explore what we’ve heard so far about all of this important info concerning the rumored upcoming DJI Mavic 4 Pro.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro Rumored Launch Date
According to Jasper Ellens who runs the site DroneXL, who shared the leaked images of the Mavic 4 Pro last week, it sounds like multiple inside sources are confirming that the DJI Mavic 4 Pro will be launched on Thursday, April 24th, 2025.
The reports also seem to indicate that a teaser might be officially launched by DJI a week prior to this rumored launch date. While these are just leaks and rumors, it would track with what previous reports have indicated with a late April or possibly early May announcement date.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro Rumored Key Features
As covered in previous rumors, the key specs and features for a potential DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone have also been teased, but a bit misty in terms of what the different rumors can appear to lock down. What it sounds like now, a potential month out from a launch date, is that the Mavic 4 Pro will feature three cameras just as we saw with the Mavic 3 Pro version.
These cameras could be focal length equivalent options to 28mm, 70mm, and 168mm and will all possibly be powered by a sensor that can offer 6K resolution video recording. The leaks also indicate that the camera gimbal itself will be redesigned and feature ND filters and other filmmaking-specific enhancements.
The other big news in the leaks is that the Mavic 4 Pro could potentially offer 240W fast charging and 52 minutes of battery life with users able to fully recharge three batteries in a reported 90 minutes.

DJI Mavic 4 Pro Rumored Price
Finally, the big news here from the rumor mill is that pricing figures have finally been floated, but obviously not confirmed by DJI yet. These pricing rumors indicate a starting price of just $2,250 for the DJI Mavic 4 with different Fly More Combos and Creator Combos coming in at $3,200 and $4,400 respectively.
Again, all these are rumors at this time, but interesting specs and figures to consider. We’ll keep you posted with official news once released (or at least teased) by DJI in the coming weeks.
